Vigilant Solutions announces today that it has established an Advisory Council to support its planned development of new and innovative intelligence solutions for law enforcement. The Advisory Council will leverage the deep expertise and knowledge of its members to guide future product development efforts.
The Chairman of the Advisory Council is Mr. Howard Safir. Mr. Safir has a long and distinguished career as Police Commissioner of New York City, Director of Operations for the United States Marshals Service, Assistant Director of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Fire Commissioner of New York City, member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and Board Member of Lexis-Nexis Special Solutions, Verint Systems and Implant Sciences Corporation.
Mr. Joel Gutensohn, another member of the council, has thirty years of Federal law enforcement experience, including over twenty years with the DEA. Mr. Gutensohn was a Federal Security Director within the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and has also held positions of authority within Customs and Border Protection, Blackwater Training, the Association of Former Federal Narcotics Agents and others.
Mr. Robert Liscouski, the third member of the Council, was appointed by President George W. Bush as the first Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection. He has over thirty years of law enforcement and security experience within local and Federal agencies as well as the private sector. Mr. Liscouski has served roles in the United States Department of State Diplomatic Security Service, Coca-Cola, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and others.
